In the event industry it is very important to stay on top of the latest trends and styles. From table settings to lighting styles, everything changes from period to period.

Anar Party Rentals knows the importance of keeping up with the industry and thus makes it of high importance to attend as many trade shows and event shows as possible.

This year Anar chose to attend the Event Solutions trade show in Las Vegas.

What is new for the event world? Well, the biggest difference is the way that specialists are decorating their tables. Simplicity is once again a key to making an impact. Their are many ways to achieve this simple look, but one major way is to keep the decorations small and few. Concentrate on table essentials such as dinnerware, but as for centerpieces, people are preferring small, simple and elegant.

As for Lighting designs, Many people are going with subtle downlighting with a small but important detail, using compact fluorescent bulbs. As people become more aware of the environment so is the event industry.

Also, more and more people are using IPODs for their events. As such, Anar has made sure to have the latest music technology in their inventory to interface with any IPOD or other music playing device.

Number 2 wedding city in the world is Istanbul Turkey with 92,000 for the year.

Number 3 City (2 in the US) is Gatlinburg, Tn with 42,000 weddings.

Number 4 City (3rd in the US) is New Orleans, La with 36,545 Marriages in 2002. "Due to hurricane Katrina New Orleans will not match this number for a few years."

There are over 9,000,000 weddings in China per year with an average $19,900 per wedding! Stats from China News Agency 2006

There are 714,000 Japanese brides per year spending an average of $70,000 per wedding Stats from Census of Japan 2005.

The numbers for San Diego are not known but believed to be between 15,000 to 20,000 per year!
